COE has made important strides to integrate the most recent innovations in laser optics into our X-Net product range by introducing hot pluggable SFP laser ports into every X-Net fibre product. This technology can transform the performance and ease of management of a fibre optic infastructure and also makes installation and maintenance a much simpler process.

SFP Lasers can transmit signals over twice the distance of traditional fibre lasers, extending the potential range from a single light source in a network infastructure to over 100Km.
SFP hot pluggable lasers can be provided as single fibre bi-directional or wavelength specific CWDM optics, allowing the optical spectrum to be split into a number of optical channels. This development enables the user to increase the video channel count on a single fibre to as many as 144 channels, greatly enhancing the capabilities of a fibre optic based network infastructure.
Hot pluggable lasers offer unparalleled speed and ease of replacement. They can be replaced in seconds eliminating the hassle and lengthy system downtime associated with replacing traditional lasers.
