COE has increasingly focussed on a small number of verticals in the last 5-10 years.
COE's strongest vertical is Traffic and Transport. The COE team has experience of product design and optimisation, applications design, installation and support issues in all areas of transport including Rail, underground, airports, roads and traffic charging/management.
COE's second vertical is Heavy Industrial including oil refineries, offshore and submarine installations, and Chemical plants. COE's team brings the same detailed knowledge to this sector as to Transport, and many product requirements are similar to those in the Transport vertical.
COE's third vertical is Infrastructure. This includes electrical plant, ports and borders.
Finally, COE has extensive skills in urban surveillance built up over two decades.
Products and specialisms honed for the verticals listed above are also applied into other markets such as military applications, manufacturing plant, and many other video surveillance systems.
