COE and ISM announce technology partnership; Close product integration and promotion of ISM’s Genesys Control Room Management System as COE’s preferred control system.
COE Ltd, the developer and supplier of advanced video surveillance systems, and ISM Ltd, the premier developer of Integrated Security Control Room Management Software have today announced a technology partnership in which COE will sell ISM’s Genesys Control Room Management System (CRMS) integrated with COE’s X-Net transmission range including its leading IP codecs with intelligent video analytics, its recording systems and matrices.
The companies will also partner to bid for larger projects with COE bringing its expertise in very large scale video systems and ISM bringing its broad experience of control room management systems including access control and communications. The relationship covers all markets of COE and ISM will be COE’s exclusive partner in Asia where COE has a market leading position in transport projects and other major infrastructure projects.
The companies have commenced a tight integration of their core products. This brings the best out of COE’s and ISM’s products and immediately provides an interface between COE’s existing systems and several other established technologies already integrated by ISM including Access Control, IP Cameras, DVRs and Building Automation. Additionally, the unique driver-based approach of ISM ensures that the system can be easily customized to control the legacy equipment already operational at a customer site.
Andrew Wallace, CEO of COE said, “COE and ISM have successfully operated side by side for several years in UK urban systems. Now with Genesys we can offer a well proven control system which allows users to operate complex analogue and digital security systems from one coherent graphical tool. Genesys interfaces with all current COE products including existing digital and analogue systems and scales from small codec-based implementations to the 2,000 camera complex systems we have become known for.”
David Jenkins, Managing Director of ISM said, “ISM offers the most advanced patented migrating server technology (MST) for security control room management systems, which encompasses surveillance solutions as well as many other security applications. COE is a natural partner with its focus on integrated video network systems utilising both fibre and IP based products. We are confident that with COE ‘s worldwide presence and innovative products coupled to our Genesys open platform solution that both companies can generate significant business.”
COE provides long term support to its users worldwide and users of analogue COE systems now have an easy upgrade option to Genesys for control room management.
COE and ISM products are demonstrated together at the Essen show 10th-13th October.
