COE Group, the developer and supplier of digital and analogue CCTV systems with high profile installations in transport, traffic charging, industrial security and urban surveillance, announced today that it had won a contract to supply fibre transmission equipment for the prestigious motorway development from Luxembourg to Germany. This has been won with its Belgian Value Added Reseller, Vigitec, against other industry competitors. COE Series 300 equipment will transmit CCTV signals for data, audio and contact closure from 150 cameras over a distance of 20km to a central control room and is expected to be installed on the Motorway in the coming months.
Andrew Wallace, Chief Executive Officer at COE said, "COE is delighted to have completed this win with its Belgian partners, Vigitec, against stiff competition. This demonstrates the suitability of COE's equipment for transport applications and Vigitec’s strong reputation in the transport markets. We look forward to further wins in this area”.
Michel Renard, Managing Director of Vigitec, said “This is our second opportunity to install COE transmission systems along highways of Luxemburg. Undoubtedly, the performance and quality of COE equipment has been a key decision factor in the customer's selection process and we are confident that, once again, we will be able to fully satisfy our customer's need."
