COE expands its commercial team supporting world wide sales

COE Group plc, the developer and supplier of advanced video surveillance systems is pleased to announce the appointment of Lucas Bateman as Commercial Counsel.
Lucas joined COE from Cobbetts, Leeds office where he was a partner in the commercial team specialising in intellectual property law. Lucas first took a physics degree at Jesus College Oxford, before training as a specialist IP barrister and then spent 7 years at Pinsents as a technology specialist before joining Cobbetts as a partner in 2002. “I have a great deal of experience in working with technology based businesses” says Lucas, “both professionally and also through supporting and mentoring them via participation in Connect Yorkshire and Venturefest. I look forward to working with the highly skilled team at COE and to taking an active commercial role within their key projects and client relationships.”
